pastraipa statusas T sritis informatika apibrėžtis Teksto dalis, sudaryta iš tarpusavyje susijusių sakinių, išreiškiančių vientisą mintį ir apipavidalinta taip, kad būtų matomos ribos tarp pastraipų: prasideda nauja, dažniausiai įtraukta eilute, atskiriama didesniais tarpais nuo gretimų pastraipų (palyginti su atstumais tarp tos pačios pastraipos eilučių). Grynojo teksto pastraipos formuojamos rankiniu būdu: pirmosios eilutės įtrauka padaroma iš tabuliavimo arba tarpo ženklų, tarp gretimų pastraipų įterpiama tuščia eilutė. Raiškiojo teksto pastraipa turi savo parametrus: atstumą nuo gretimos pastraipos iš viršaus ir iš apačios, eilučių lygiavimą, įtraukas ir kt., baigiasi ↑pastraipos simboliu, kuris gali būti rodomas ekrane, bet nespausdinamas. Kompiuteryje dažniausiai vaizduojama viena ilga ženklų eilute.
